Nordic Naturals, Watsonville, CA, has launched Ultimate Detox Formula, a dietary supplement meant to help release, remove and defend against heavy metal toxins. The detox tablets provide a blend of nutrients including alginate, the carbohydrate that makes up algae cell walls. The company has also added synergistic antioxidants to the formula including, selenium, zinc and vitamin C.
